Table Rate Shipping for WooCommerce 3.6.5

An update was released February 8th, 2016 for the popular Table Rate Shipping plugin to address a few concerns. Automatic updates are available from your dashboard if you have registered the plugin. You can also manually update the plugin files by downloading them from CodeCanyon.net.

The most important bug fix is for WPML users who found their shipping classes had ceased to work again. Unfortunately this part of the code relied on an action hook that seems to have been removed in a recent WooCommerce update. Rather than find a new hook to rely on, the code was modified to make the shipping class translations work directly with the code within the plugin. If you are using WPML and shipping classes in your settings, and were experiencing issues having the shipping rates appear in foreign languages, please update the plugin now and give it another test.

Another nice fix for many users is for the custom ordering option found at the bottom of the Table Rate settings page. This feature ceased working after a recent update but has now been corrected.

A few more items to note:

  • The ‘calculate_subtotal’ function no longer includes virtual products
  • The ‘calculate_subtotal’ function now supports finding the correct price for a ‘Bundled Product’ item (created with the Bundled Product plugin from WooThemes)
  • Updated the Spanish translation to be more accurate (courtesy of user jgonzalezd)

If you have any trouble with the new version after upgrading, please open a new support ticket describing the issue, providing screenshots if applicable. Tickets should be responded to within 3 business days.
