Settings Tab: Favorites

Allowing your registered customers to mark products as their favorites will not only help you to chart popularity, but it will also enable those customers to receive important alerts when something they like is on sale or nearly out of stock.

General Settings

Enable / Disable – This controls whether or not the ‘Favorites’ feature will be active and displayed in your shop. When the checkbox is marked, the feature is enabled. Unmarking the checkbox will disable functionality but keep your settings saved. When this feature is enabled, you still have the ability to disable the button for liking an individual item under the Product Alerts tab of the product page.

Hide favorites link for guests – By default, the ‘Favorite’ button will be displayed for both register users and visiting guests. When a guest clicks on the button, they are brought to the login page and asked to login or register an account. When this option is disabled, the feature will simply be hidden for guests. No further action is taken unless they login.
